Awadh Arts Festival 2021 is organized by the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, New Delhi. The festival was inaugurated on 26th February and it will continue till 4th march 2021. The major categories in this festival are painting, sculptures, ceramics, and pottery.

Dr. Zahida Khan a National artist from Prayagraj who attended this festival as a special invitee. She demonstrated the art of knife painting. This is a unique technique to create art by using a knife.

 

 

Dr. Zahida Khanam has been making her efforts to establish the art of knife painting all over the world. She has organized and attended various painting exhibitions not only in India but also abroad. She has an exclusive focus on nature-related themes and themes related to social issues. She has already been awarded by various National level organizations.

Dr. Zahida Khanam has established a private art gallery in Prayagraj. This is the first of its kind and promoting new and budding artists across the Prayagraj.
The demonstration made by Dr. Zahida Khanam in the ongoing Awadh Art Festival was appreciated and lauded by distinguished participants present in the festival.
